Puzzle
Tile Garden
★★★★☆ 4.1
Tile Garden takes the familiar match-and-clear formula and wraps it in a gentle gardening theme where clearing tiles grows your little plot. It's not reinventing the genre, but the presentation is charming and the difficulty curve is fair. Levels rarely feel cheap, which is more than I can say for a lot of puzzlers.
Controls are as simple as they come — drag matching tiles together and watch them bloom. The satisfying part is planning a few moves ahead to trigger chains. There's a hint system that never nags you, which I appreciated.
It's the definition of a pick-up-and-put-down game, easy on the battery and happy to be played in one-minute bursts. Nothing groundbreaking here, but a pleasant, well-made comfort puzzler.
